Kronplatz (also called Plan de Corones) surely is the Italian ski area with the most recent and comfortable ski lifts: there are many gondola lifts, with stops in the middle, and four-seat and six-seat covered detachable grip chairlifts. The ski area offers 115 Km of slopes with many different views on the long slopes taking to the valleys in three directions and a wide sunny plateau on the peak at 2275 m. There are five black slopes: Sylvester, Herrnegg, Pre da Peres, Erta, and Piculin. The most famous is the Silverster with its breath-taking walls, going from the peak to Bruneck. Four slopes are equipped for nocturne skiing: the Korer on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the Cianross on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Terento on Thursdays, the Guggenberg on Wednesdays. The first two slopes are also accessible by toboggans by night. The ski pass prices are consistent with the other resorts in Dolomiti Superski, despite the huge investment required by the ski lifts. The slopes are neat and served by a powerful snowmaking system. Plan de Corones ski area includes Bruneck, Olang, San Vigilio di Marebbe, San Martin de Tor; all those resorts are connected your skis on.
