You can start from Valsesia, your skis on, and arrive to Val d’Ayas and Valle del Lys, in Monterosa Ski ski area. Alagna ski resort is in the far end of this wonderful ski area, and offers breath-taking downhills on Monterosa Massif slopes. In Alagna, alpine skiing lovers will find seven beautiful slopes and six ski lifts, but this resort is known to be a paradise for off-piste lovers. Going up to 3260 m, you will reach the Indren glacier, where you can see the view on Valsesia and Valle del Lys. In clear days, you can see the lakes in Po valley and the whole Alps chain. From Indren glacier, you can follow many routes towards Valle del Lys or Alagna, with 2000 m of drop. For cross-country skiing, 10 Km of trails follow the left bank of Sesia river, going through the Balma fields and Gabbio woods.
