VILLAGE IN HIGH ALTITUDE WITHOUT CAR

It is small village of Valtournenche which can be accessed only by the ropeway from the valley. It is one of the smallest municipalities with a modest-sized ski area.

Ponte di Legno

AN HISTORICAL WINTER TOURISM TOWN

It is a historic village where a stream passes through its centre and flows into the river Oglio. Even the new developed real estates, which are closed to the cable car of Tonale, manage to keep the pure mountain architectural characteristic by extensively using stones and wood.In contrast, from this point of view, surely it is less attractive in Passo del Tonale since it  does not have a historic center but only some large buildings.
