Ponte di Legno
Ponte di Legno is an ancient village at 1200m in the Northern Val Camonica. There are four chairlifts, one of which is a four-seat, detachable grip chairlift, and a platter lift, allowing to ski between 1250 and 2150 metres, among wonderful conifer forests. Huge investments transformed Ponte di Legno, which previously was a small resort, in the largest ski area in Lombardy. Ponte di Legno became the crucial point of Adamello Ski for two reasons. First, it is in the middle of this area, and if you want to go from Temù to Tonale Pass, you have to pass through Ponte. Second, from this village you can arrive to the Pass thanks to a fast gondola lift, which allows skiers to leave their cars in Ponte and going skiing in Tonale, saving time and petrol.
Cross-country skiers will enjoy 9 kilometres of trails in an untouched nature in Ponte, and other 30Km in the neighbouring Fondo del Vermiglio Centre.
