San Pellegrino Pass connects the villages of Moena (Fassa Valley, Trentino) and Falcade (Valle del Biois, Belluno province, Veneto). San Pellegrino Pass ski area offers 35.36 Km of alpine skiing slopes, at the foot of Monzoni chain: 11 easy slopes in 16.08 Km, six reds in 16.13 Km, and two blacks in 3.15 Km; they are served by 11 modern ski lifts, including a prestigious cable car with two cabs for 96 people designed by Pininfarina, which climbs up from 1918 m to Col Margerita peak, at 2513 m. On the north side of Col Margherita, off piste lovers can safely ski in Col Margherita Freeride Park, equipped with a dedicate signage and a delimited route long 800 m. Snowboarders can enjoy the Sanpe Snowpark in San Pellegrino Pass, near Costabella: four rails and ten boxes of different sizes and levels on a total length of 800 m, served by the four-seat chairlift “Campignol”. Kids older than three can enjoy the snow in “Kids Paradise” amusement park ( 0462 573369) in Chalet Cima Uomo. San Pellegrino Pass ski area is connected skis on with Falcade ski area, for a total of 75 Km of slopes and 19 ski lifts. San Pellegrino Pass ski area is the centre of Tre Valli ski area, including Falcade and Moeana-Alpe Lusia ski area, reachable in 15 minutes with the free shuttle. Around San Pellegrino Pass area, in April, it takes place the Pizolada delle Dolomiti, a classic of ski mountaineering, with a route of 16 Km and a drop of 1700m.
