From Moena, in Ronchi municipality, starts the Lusia Valbona gondola lift, taking up to Alpe Lusia skiing area. Here, you will find eight modern ski lifts: two gondola lifts, five detachable grip chairlifts – three of them not covered – and a platter lift for beginners. Alpine skiing slopes are suitable for every level and cover 26 kilometres: on the north side, towards Moena, you will find mostly red and black slopes with thrilling walls; we highly recommend the exciting Fiamme Oro black slope. The south side of Alpe Lusia (Castelir-BEllamonte), sunnier and quieter, is the kingdom of families and beginners. On this side, towards Bellamonte, you also will find the snow park, a medium level boardercross course long 800 metres and wide 6 metres. “Babylandia” is an amusement park on the snow for children older than 3 years. For Nordic skiing, skiers will find 18 Km of trails, some of them very demanding, like the black trail “Campo d’Orso” in Passo San Pellegrino, about 10 Km away from Moena, reachable with the ski bus; there are also two rings in Alochet Cross-country skiing centre. From November to December, in Moena you will find the Christmas market.
