Limone Piemonte certainly is the ski resort in South Alpes which has the widest winter sports offer. Alpine skiing slopes in Riserva Bianca wind for around 56 Km; they offers beautiful views and an average difficulty, being suited for medium level skiers; however, there are some enjoyable slopes for experts, like the Cabanaira and the Olimpica. For beginners and kids, there are Del Sole and Limone 1400 ski school areas. In Gogolandia Village, at the arriving point of Severino Bottero al Sole gondola lift, you will find snow tubing facilities and inflatables. During winter, the riding stables near the village become a skiing area suitable for learning winter sports; here, you will find a chairlift and a platter lift, while the ski school area is served by a magic carpet. Besides alpine skiing, Limone offers a snow park in Limonetto basin, some breath taking off-piste, two cross-country skiing trails – a 3Km green run and a 2 Km red run -, snowshoes walks along the creeks, ice skating, golf, ice waterfall, leisure in discos, gaming rooms, cinema. You will also find many restaurants where to enjoy traditional dishes of Occitan cooking.
