La Villa
La Villa, also called La Ila, is a quiet South Tyrol ski resort in Alta Badia, surrounded by beautiful woods and internationally renowned slopes. The Gran Risa slope, which every year hosts the World Cup giant slalom race, goes down from Piz La Ila (or Piz La Villa) to the village. From Piz la Ila, you can reach Corvara, from where you can access the Sella Ronda circuit, keeping your skis on. From La Villa, you can ski in the opposite direction, going down the Val Badia until reaching the picturesque Pedraces. This ski resort offers another interesting ski tour, the World War One tour, reaching Alleghe after passing through many villages like Arabba and Malga Ciapela, with some bus trips. For kids older than two years wanting to enjoy the snow or some amusing group activity, there is a snow kindergarten managed by the ski school. Unfortunately, there are not many attractions for night life, but you only have to reach the neighbouring Corvara to find a good offer.
