During winter, you can ski on the amazing alpine skiing slopes of Weissmatten, even in the night, among centuries-old Swiss pines and iced lakes. The black slope and professional trails “Leonardo David” are the perfect spot in Monterosa Ski resort for more demanding skiers. In front of skilifts on Weissmatten you can find a baby snow park, with its two moving sidewalks. Cross-country lovers has 26 Km of trails divided in six rings for different levels; one of them is a lighted trail for night skiing. If you prefer heliski, you can reach Monte Rosa peeks at 4000 meters with a mountain guide (phone: 0125.366280 - 349.4320563 fax: 0125.36628), and you can enjoy several off piste like Canalino dell’Aquila, Valle Perduta, Piramide Vincent, Punta Giordani, Punta Vittoria and Canale della Malfatta. For leisure after skiing, the Gressoney Sport Haus offers 5000 covered and heated square meters equipped for many sports, like swimming, tennis, squash, volleyball, basket, futsal, and indoor climbing. Moreover, the Center has a fitness area and a relax area, in which you will find saunas, Turkish baths, Jacuzzis, massage services, and a cinema.
