From Colle Bercia you can go down towards Cesana Torinese or the other villages in Via Lattea, while the Col Boeuf chairlift takes you across the frontier towards Montgenèvre. If you are not an expert, you can enjoy the blue slope connecting the two villages to the valley, while if you are one you can’t miss the black slope number 100, that goes down from Colletto Verde, at 2560 m. This slope, which is peculiar, can’t be reached from Italy, but only from the French side. There are few people on this slope and you will surely enjoy it. The whole Via Lattea ski area offers 320 Km of slopes for alpine skiing, while in Claviere and Cesana you will find 110 Km of slopes. Cross-country skiing lovers will find 3 rings of increasing difficulty, for a total amount of 10 Km, which become 16 Km thanks to the connection with the French trail. Being surrounded by majestic mountains, Claviere offers many routes to ski-mountaineering and snowshoes walks lovers, who can choose among many types, lengths and levels. The rise to Mont Chaberton and the traverse towards Bardonecchia are only two of the big classics you can try starting from Claviere. If you are in search of strong emotions in spring or summer, try the rope bridge long 468 meters, at 30 meters from the ground, suspended in the canyon at the confluence between Gimont creek and Piccola Dora, in Gorge di San Gervasio area.
