Cesana Torinese is a little village in Susa Valley, at 1350m; it lies in a little hollow in Mont Chaberton Massif, near the confluence of Piccola Dora river and Ripa creek, forming Dora Riparia River. Cesana is in the centre of Via Lattea ski area, with which is well connected. After passing the village, you will reach the ski lift in La Comba, on the route to Sestriere. Cesana Torinese is a little village in Susa Valley, at 1350m; it lies in a little hollow in Mont Chaberton Massif, near the confluence of Piccola Dora river and Ripa creek, forming Dora Riparia River. Cesana is in the centre of Via Lattea ski area, with which is well connected. After passing the village, you will reach the ski lift in La Comba, on the route to Sestriere. Three modern four-seat chairlifts take to Colle Bercia, from where you can go down to Claviere. This is the Monti della Luna [Moon Mountains] ski area, covering 110 Km of slopes in Claviere and Cesana. In Cesana ski area, you will find different slopes: 16 red, 9 black and 11 blue slopes. The Olympic run Pariol Cesana hoste the bob, toboggan and skeleton contests during 2006 Turin Olympic Games, and still hosts the Europe Cup, the Italian Championships and the World Championships. If you are in search of strong emotions in spring or summer, try the rope bridge long 468 meters, at 30 meters from the ground, suspended in the canyon at the confluence between Gimont creek and Piccola Dora, in Gorge di San Gervasio area.
