Alpe di Siusi

Seiser Alm is a modern ski resort that lies on mild slopes surrounded by breath-taking snow-covered landscapes in the Dolomites. You can reach Seiser Alm by car or taking the two modern gondola lifts. The first one arrives to Urtijëi, while the second one arrives to Kastelruth. Alpine skiing slopes are mostly easy or medium, that is why this ski area, which is part of Dolomiti Superski, is particularly suitable for families, as well as for beginners and intermediate skiers. The resort also won a prize by ADAC (the German Automobile Club), in 2011, as one of the best resorts…

The resort also won a prize by ADAC (the German Automobile Club), in 2011, as one of the best resorts for families in Europe. The ski lifts are modern and fast, and passes among wonderful woods. In the two ski school areas and in the boarding areas of Laurin and Florian chairlifts, there are eight magic carpets useful for beginners. Taking the shuttle in Saltria, you will arrive to Mount Pana, from where – your skis on – you will reach the Sella Ronda, which offers 40 Km of slopes and ski lifts. The King Laurin Snow Park offers exciting experiences with its jumps, kicks, boxes and walls. You will find 80 Km of cross-country skiing trails and 30 Km of winter paths with a wonderful view on the Schlern; we also recommend the excursion to the iced waterfalls of Rio Freddo, at the foot of mount Schlern. Paragliding is possible in winter, too: in 20 minutes you will go down from Bullaccia to Kastelruth. In February, it takes place the South Tyrol Moonlight Classic Alpe di Siusi, a cross-country skiing race by night which follows trails of 20 or 36 Km. Another interesting activity is toboggan: you can enjoy 17 Km in 7 slopes, one of them in Völs am Schlern and 6 in the Seiser Alm.
