Lazio is the region of Rome. You can find off course a lot of historical monuments and few kilometers far from the city also several beaches. But you can also spend one day on the slopes on the mountains. Terminillo is the most important ski resort of Lazio with 5 lifts and 8 km of track. Off course it is not a big ski resort and should not be compared with the most famous ski area of the Alps. But if you are curious you can still try.
