Every year, in December, on Pra di Tori slope, takes place the Snowboard FIS World Cup, which calls snowboarders from all over the world to compete in two races: the parallel slalom and giant parallel slalom men/women. You will surely enjoy nocturne skiing in Christomannos snow park, in the new Carezza Kings kids snow park, in Kinderland amusement park on the snow for 2 to 7 years old kids, or in the one of three toboggan run lightened at night. Dolomites offer a wide range of back country skiing routes for different levels, that you can try with an expert guide, to safely admire the rocky giants of this area (Centro alpino Catinaccio Mühlweg 12a, 39056 Nova Levante, tel. + fax 0471 61 34 87). Cross-country skiing lovers will find 16 Km of trails, suitable for beginners, too: Frin ring, 5 Km; Carezza ring (Angerle Alm), 3 Km; Frin – Nigra – Frin trail, 8 Km. Karerpass is 8 Km away from Vigo di Fassa. A ski-bus connects the Pass with the main centres of Fassa Valley.
